Dr. Morton is the Medical Director for Saint Thomas Midtown’s Center for Surgical and Medical Weight Loss.  He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery with almost 40 years of experience in general surgery, specializing in bariatric surgery for the last 14 years.  He received his undergraduate degree from Auburn University, and his medical degree from Tennessee.  Dr. Morton is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and a member of the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgeons (ASMBS). 

Dr. Morton and his wife Rhonda have three children and seven grandchildren.  He enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf in his free time.
