Mark Hartsfield is originally from Dickson, Tennessee. He attended Columbia State Community College before earning a B.S. in Cell and Molecular Biology, Cum Laude from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 2008. He played baseball all four years of college earning conference athletic and academic awards. He went to medical school at Lincoln Memorial University Debusk College of Osteopathic Medicine and graduated with a Doctor of Osteopathy degree in 2013. While at LMU he also earned a Master of Business Administration. He is now board certified in Family Medicine after completing a Family Medicine residency program at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences-Pine Bluff in 2016. He now sees patients in outpatient clinic, nursing homes, and still works part time in the emergency room.
