J. Brevard Haynes Jr., MD

Dr. Haynes served as Scoutmaster of Troop 31 from 1986 through 1994. He worked with the Middle Tennessee Council of the Boy Scouts to establish the High Adventure Committee whose mission is to promote high adventure activities within Scouting. He served as the Chairman of this committee from 1993 through 2009. He continues to teach whitewater canoeing to scouts and adult leaders for the Council.

He and his wife Jane have been married since 1969 and are the proud parents of two children and two grandchildren. He enjoys woodturning, whitewater canoeing, running and hiking.
