Kelly C. Wormer, MD

Dr. Wormer is an alumnus of the University of Florida where she completed undergraduate studies in nutrition and went on to study medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine. She completed OB/GYN residency at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC where she was awarded top resident research project, studying the effect of omega-3 fatty acids on in vitro fertilization, and upon graduation was awarded for her skills in Minimally Invasive Surgery. She enjoys contraceptive counseling and family planning, helping patients who are struggling with infertility, seeing adolescents and teenagers in the office, practicing minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, pregnancy care, and promoting general women's health and wellness. She worked in private practice for several years in the Carolinas and is enjoying being a new Nashville resident.

Contraception, abnormal uterine bleeding, prenatal care, pelvic pain disorders, infertility, infections, menopause, minimally invasive surgery. Other interests are running, hiking, yoga, backpacking, travel, reading, University of Florida athletics.
