Dr Bellin has focused her practice on Breast Surgery since 2002. She has been in Nashville since 2012 and practices mostly at St Thomas West hospital and also holds privileges at St Thomas Midtown hospital. She has had academic appointments in the Departments of Surgery of the University of Pennsylvania, East Carolina University, and currently holds a position as Affiliated Associate Professor, University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine, Division of General Surgery, Department of Clinical Medical Education.
She grew up in Philadelphia, Pa, and met her husband during her residency. Her husband practices Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery at St Thomas West and together they have three boys ranging in age from middle school to near college.
She champions providing patients with a compassionate environment, where she educates her patients in a candid, caring style. She works closely with the multidisciplinary care team to provide an individualized, inclusive approach to each patient. She evaluates and incorporates new technologies in her approach to breast cancer care.
She advocates for many personal causes in her spare time and enjoys spending time with her family, exercising, and her new hobby, knitting.
Her interests are in Breast Health, Genetics, High Risk families, minimally invasive biopsies, Oncoplastic techniques.
